RIYADH: ASFAR, the Saudi Tourism Investment Company fully owned by the Public Investment Fund, has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing at the Cityscape Global 2024 Exhibition in Riyadh. This collaboration aims to transform unused public areas into vibrant spaces for entertainment, cultural, and sports activities, boosting the Kingdom's tourism sector. According to Saudi Press Agency, Assistant Deputy Minister for Investment Promotion and Revenue Generation Eng. Abdulmajeed Alaskar noted that this partnership will open new opportunities for private sector investment in public facilities. The initiative seeks to improve the quality of life for both citizens and visitors by creating parks and expanding green spaces across various regions of the Kingdom, aligning with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 objectives for sustainable urban development and enhanced community well-being.
