Riyadh: Aseer Region Municipality is taking significant steps to enhance its tourism sector by unveiling 44 seasonal investment sites during the summer season. This initiative aims to empower investors, enrich visitor experiences, and elevate the contribution of tourism and entertainment activities to the local economy, aligning with the region's burgeoning tourism momentum.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Aseer Region Mayor Eng. Abdullah Al-Jali highlighted that the municipality is implementing a comprehensive plan to bolster the summer tourism season. This plan follows two main tracks: the first focuses on continuing infrastructure projects and urban landscape improvements, such as roads, sidewalks, parks, lighting, and municipal services. The second track is centered on developing investment opportunities and organizing events and activities to enhance the appeal of the region's cities and governorates during the summer months.
These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to capitalize on Aseer's rapidly growing tourism sector, which is supported by expanded infrastructure, a variety of natural and heritage destinations, and an increasing number of seasonal events.
