Aroya Cruises Sets Sail on Inaugural Mediterranean Voyage

Istanbul: Aroya Cruises, a subsidiary of Cruise Saudi and fully owned by the Public Investment Fund, has launched its first Mediterranean voyage on June 28. The cruise promises guests an integrated tourism experience inspired by Arab hospitality, visiting some of the world's notable cruise destinations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the flagship vessel, AROYA, began its journey from Galataport in Istanbul. This seven-night voyage includes stops at Athens, Souda Bay, and Mykonos in Greece, with a visit to Bodrum in Trkiye, before concluding in Istanbul on July 5.

Following the success of its initial Red Sea season, Aroya Cruises will operate Mediterranean voyages until mid-September 2025. These journeys offer itineraries from six to seven nights, visiting ports in Marmaris, Rhodes, Alexandria, and other coastal cities in Trkiye, Greece, and Egypt.

The AROYA boasts world-class amenities such as a main pool area, a theater with daily entertainment, and a wellness center offering therapeutic treatments. A variety of activities are available for families, including an adventure zone, sports complex, and water park. Culinary options feature 12 restaurants and 17 caf©s with a mix of Saudi and international cuisines.
