Jeddah: The 69th Executive Council meeting of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), chaired by Saudi Arabia through the General Court of Audit (GCA), began today in Jeddah, where it will be held from November 30 to December 4.
According to Saudi Press Agency, several topics and reports were reviewed and discussed, including GCA's report on the Institutional Capacity Building Committee. The meeting also examined reports from member institutions regarding their participation in the committees and working groups of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions.
The Executive Council of ARABOSAI oversees the implementation of the organization's strategic plan, issues executive decisions, and approves draft policies and initiatives before they are presented to the General Assembly, which consists of the supreme audit institutions of all Arab countries.
