According to Saudi Press Agency, President of the Arab Parliament Mohammed Al-Yammahi stated that the GDI's accomplishments over the past five years highlight the initiative's foundational vision. Al-Yammahi noted that the initiative centers development within the international agenda, aids in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and enhances cooperation among nations. This collaboration addresses economic, social, and development challenges worldwide, particularly in developing countries and the Global South.
The Arab Parliament reiterated its complete support for the GDI and various initiatives aimed at transforming Sustainable Development Goals into concrete achievements. It expressed eagerness to maintain collaborative efforts with the People's Republic of China and international partners to strengthen Arab-Chinese cooperation.
