Arab ministers decry Israeli genocides

The Arab League Council on Sunday condemned the wide-scale Israeli genocides against the Palestinian people namely recent aggression on Jerusalem and other regions in the occupied territories.

The council, in a statement in the end of its extraordinary session held at the ministerial level today, lambasted Israel for killing, wounding and arresting scores of Palestinians, demolishing houses and installations, expressing solidarity with families of the martyrs and victims of the blatant aggression.

It affirmed support for the Palestinian people, particularly on the occasion of the 75th “Al-Nakba” anniversary, saluting generations of Palestinian refugees who had been driven out of their homes since the 1948 “Al-Nakba.” The Arab ministers affirmed the Palestinian refugees’ right to return home and get compensation for their losses. Moreover, they stressed on safeguarding Al-Aqsa Mosque, condemned the Israeli attacks on worshippers at Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan, and re-affirmed that Jordan remained the custodian of the sanctities in Jerusalem.
