Tunis: The League of Arab States is participating in the 45th session of the General Assembly of the Arab States Broadcasting Union on December 16 and 17 in Tunis, represented by a delegation headed by Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Media and Communication Sector Ambassador Ahmed Khattabi.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Khattabi noted that the selection of "professional dialogue" as the theme for this session underscores the commitment to media development, which is primarily driven by the elements of "youth and innovation" and "media and artificial intelligence."
Khattabi emphasized the importance of concerted efforts among Arab media institutions, the development of training curricula, and investment in knowledge. The ultimate aim is to build a modern media system that contributes to achieving the aspirations of Arab societies for sustainable development.
