Riyadh: Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, particularly the recent attack on Nasser Medical Complex, which resulted in the deaths of 20 people, including five journalists.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Secretary-General stated that the latest massacre is just one episode in a continuing series of massacres deliberately targeting civilians. He highlighted that Israel has killed more than 12 journalists in the past two weeks alone, with the total number of journalists killed since the beginning of the war reaching into the hundreds.

Aboul Gheit further expressed that Israel aims to obscure the atrocities occurring in Gaza and silence any voices conveying the truth. He urged the international community to break the global silence surrounding these unprecedented atrocities and the daily cold-blooded crimes being committed with impunity.
