Arab league: Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Israeli military actions in Syria. The attacks, which included artillery shelling targeting the governorates of Quneitra and Daraa, have been described by Aboul Gheit as violations of Syrian sovereignty and international law.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Aboul Gheit emphasized that these ongoing violations by Israeli forces pose a risk of escalating the conflict and could derail efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region. In his statement, he urged the United Nations Security Council to take decisive action to halt these aggressive maneuvers and ensure that Israel adheres to the terms of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
