Cairo: The Arab League has emphasized the crucial role of television media in monitoring and analyzing events and developments in the Arab region, particularly in light of the continuing Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon. In a statement on the occasion of World Television Day, Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattabi, Assistant Secretary General and Supervisor of the Media and Communication Sector at the Arab League, highlighted the importance of bolstering cooperation and collaborative television production within the Arab context. According to Saudi Press Agency, Khattabi stated that such collaboration would improve expertise, foster program exchange between member states, and achieve greater openness that contributes to digital convergence and the adoption of new professional technologies. He also underscored the significance of collaborative programs and partnerships between organizations and federations operating within the Arab League framework and their international counterparts in the field of media.
