Arab League Engages in Economic Discussions at Arab-Swiss Business Forum

Geneva: The Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Economic Affairs Sector at the Arab League, Ambassador Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Malki, took part in the Arab-Swiss Business Forum - TAJIR 2026 in Geneva. The forum gathered government officials, private sector representatives, and international organizations from the Arab world and Switzerland.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Arab League released a statement indicating that the forum focused on enhancing economic and investment cooperation between Arab nations and Switzerland. Discussions included key developments affecting the global economy and labor markets, such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, skills development, and the creative economy.

Ambassador Al-Malki emphasized the forum's role as a critical platform for discussions on labor market development, human capital enhancement, and workforce skills development. He underscored the necessity of adapting to technological changes and ensuring that education and training align with the requirements of modern economies.
