Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit condemned in the strongest terms, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation raid on the town of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon, which led to the killing and wounding of dozens, including the mayor and some relief workers. In a statement, the Arab League Chief said Israeli raids are being carried out indiscriminately, targeting civilians and infrastructure to replicate the brutal Gaza scenario in Lebanon. He stressed that Israel is continuing to empty northern Gaza of its population and that it is committing massacres against civilians in a manner that exceeds in ferocity what it was doing at the beginning of the war, which represents a clear message that the war will continue.
