Doha: The extraordinary session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit kicked off today in Doha, with the participation of leaders of GCC states and Arab and Islamic countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the summit embodies the unity of Arab and Islamic nations in standing with the State of Qatar and underscores their firm positions in safeguarding its sovereignty and collective security, as well as their readiness to take all necessary measures to defend their homelands and preserve security and stability.
