Washington: The Arab Coordination Group, with the participation of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), held a high-level meeting today with World Bank President Ajay Banga on the sidelines of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Annual Meetings, being held in Washington from October 13 to 18.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, IsDB Group President Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser reaffirmed the bank's commitment to boosting its long-standing partnership with the World Bank. He highlighted efforts to expand joint financing frameworks and enhance cooperation in job creation and post-conflict reconstruction, while underscoring support for joint initiatives and comprehensive health coverage.
IsDB and the World Bank continue to align their efforts to advance sustainable and inclusive growth, contributing meaningfully to the global development agenda and the progress of IsDB member countries.
