Riyadh: The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) concluded today its annual forum for World Standards Day 2025, held at its headquarters in Riyadh under the theme 'A Shared Vision for a Better World.' The event coincides with World Standards Day, observed globally on October 14 each year.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SASO Governor Dr. Saad Al Kasabi, delivering a speech on behalf of Minister of Commerce and Chairman of SASO's Board of Directors Majid Al-Kassabi, highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to fostering a culture of quality across all sectors. He noted that the leadership has continuously supported the development of the national infrastructure for standards, metrology, calibration, and quality, believing that quality is a cornerstone of excellence and a key pillar in enhancing the competitiveness of national products and services.
The forum witnessed participation from experts, specialists, and stakeholders in the field of standards, whose contributions enriched the discussions and dialogue sessions throughout the event.
