Antalya: Archaeological excavation teams in the ancient city of Sillyon, located in Trkiye's Antalya Province, have uncovered a historic street that spans multiple civilizations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Sillyon was founded in the early 21st century BC and was strategically built atop a hill for defensive purposes.
The excavation team revealed a main street stretching one kilometer in length. This street was in use across six different historical periods and features structures and artifacts from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Lycian, and Ottoman eras.
