Ambassador Khan Tours Indian Culture Week, Praises ‘Global Harmony 2’ as Coexistence Model

Riyadh: Indian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dr. Suhel Ajaz Khan visited the Indian Culture Week at Al-Suwaidi Park in Riyadh. It is a key component of the "Global Harmony 2" initiative, which falls under the Kingdom's Quality of Life Program.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, he toured sections featuring arts, culture, and heritage shows, along with booths for handicrafts and Indian food. He visited the main stage, the children's stage, the cultural bazaars, and the games and interactive areas. Organizers briefed him on the program and its aim to strengthen cultural exchange and diversity in the Kingdom.

In a statement to SPA, Ambassador Khan said he was pleased to take part in the event, calling it an inspiring model of coexistence and closer ties among peoples. He praised the Ministry of Media, the General Entertainment Authority, and the Quality of Life Program for organizing events that highlight the Kingdom's cultural diversity and help deepen ties between the Saudi and Indian people.

He added that hosting Indian Culture Week under Global Harmony 2 shows the Kingdom's view of culture as a bridge for human connection and confirms its role as a global center that blends tradition and openness. He said the strong participation and interaction he saw reflect the deep bonds between the Saudi and Indian communities.

Global Harmony 2 runs for 49 days and features 14 cultures from around the world. The program includes a wide range of art, heritage, and cultural shows. It supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve quality of life and build an open society that celebrates people and their cultures.
