AlUla Wellness Festival to Launch with Sports and Nature Experiences

Riyadh: AlUla is preparing to launch the fifth edition of the AlUla Wellness Festival, scheduled from October 24 to November 1. The event will offer a variety of activities in AlUla's stunning natural environments, highlighting its role as a global cultural and tourism hub.

According to Saudi Press Agency, festival activities will occur daily at AlUla's notable sites, such as Elephant Rock, Hegra, the Old Town Amphitheatre, Harrat Viewpoint, Heart of the Oasis, and Maraya. A cycling camp is planned for later in October, providing participants with guided tours through AlUla's challenging landscapes and workshops on riding techniques and training.

The AlUla Half Marathon will commence on October 25, featuring five race categories for different age groups and fitness levels. Additionally, the Mughayra Heritage Sports Village will host the AlUla 24-Hour Endurance Race from October 31 to November 1, where athletes will aim to complete as many laps as possible within a day, either individually or in teams.

Ashar Valley will be the venue for a triathlon event on November 1, alongside the AlUla Duathlon starting at Winter Park at the festival's beginning, reinforcing AlUla's status as a center for sports and adventure.

Visitors will also enjoy cultural and heritage-themed events, including unique culinary sessions in historic locations like Jabal Ikmah, an open-air museum showcasing ancient civilizations through its inscriptions.
