Madinah: The fourth edition of the Almadinah Book Fair has marked a significant milestone in both participation and the variety of events offered, as announced by Bassam Albassam, the General Manager of Publishing at the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the fair this year features a vibrant cultural program that includes literary seminars, poetry readings, evening sessions, and specialized workshops. It has successfully gathered a diverse group of intellectuals, writers, and enthusiasts, enhancing the cultural fabric of the event.

A notable addition to this year’s fair is a dedicated area for discounted books, which has been attracting large crowds. This initiative aims to make printed books more accessible, promoting a culture of reading and encouraging book ownership across different segments of society.

Albassam also emphasized the significant expansion of activities tailored for children and families. These enhancements, along with improved organization and the integration of smart technologies, have significantly elevated the overall visitor experience.

The fair represents an important step in supporting the local publishing industry and positioning Madinah as a thriving hub for culture and knowledge.
