Tunis: The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) held the second session of the "AI in Business and Industry Conference," with the participation of researchers, experts, and academics from Arab countries, at its headquarters in Tunis today.
According to Saudi Press Agency, ALECSO Director-General Mohamed Ould Amar emphasized the importance of AI as a strategic tool to stimulate the economy, promote innovation, and achieve sustainable development in the Arab world. He stressed the pivotal role ALECSO played in supporting digital transformation through pioneering projects which included the preparation of the Arab Charter for Ethics of AI, supporting smart platforms in education, as well as preparing to launch the "Digital Transformation Framework for Arab Universities" on April 29.
The AI Conference in Business and Industry is characterized by its focus on the scientific and practical applications of artificial intelligence in vital areas such as health, education, administration, and public services.
