ALECSO Celebrates 55 Years of Advancing Culture in the Arab World

Riyadh: Chairman of the Executive Council of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hani bin Moqbel Al-Moqbel emphasized the prominent stature ALECSO holds in the Arab world and the level of excellence it has attained as one of the most significant organizations in its field.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement marking the 55th anniversary of the founding of ALECSO on July 25, 1970, Al-Moqbel stated: "This occasion highlights the organization's substantial accomplishments that enhance its developmental impact across the Arab world. It serves as a reminder of ALECSO's renewed commitment to coordinating efforts to advance its goals and fulfill the aspirations of the Arab peoples."

Al-Moqbel said the Kingdom's presidency of ALECSO's Executive Council is a testament to the importance of improving the quality of the organization's programs across its core fields. He also stressed the need for the council to initiate more proactive support for countries facing heightened challenges, including disasters, emergencies, and crises.
