Al-rass: Jidiya Heritage Village in Al-Rass Governorate has hosted a collective iftar for more than 17 years, drawing over 1,000 fasting individuals from diverse backgrounds.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this annual event serves as a cultural landmark in the Qassim Region, reviving traditional Saudi lifestyles and authentic social customs. It fosters an atmosphere of compassion and solidarity by bringing together residents and visitors at sunset.
Organized through a collaborative effort by volunteers and local families, the iftar meals feature a variety of traditional Ramadan staples, including dates, Arabic coffee, and local dishes, served in a heritage-rich setting.
Participants emphasize that these gatherings strengthen social cohesion and promote Islamic values of generosity. By uniting individuals around a common table, Jidiya Village upholds the spirit of traditional Ramadan dining and encourages cultural exchange among attendees.
