Riyadh: The activities of the 'Al-Masqi Heritage Village' began on Saturday as part of the Aseer Summer Season 2025 program.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the events include folk art performances, participation by numerous artisans and families working in the cottage industry, and the opening of a traditional caf© in the village. These attractions are set alongside modern caf©s featuring Aseer-related designs that harmonize with the heritage style of Al-Masqi Heritage Village.
The program aims to revive culture and heritage with a contemporary touch that connects the present to the past. Al-Masqi Heritage Village is one of the oldest villages in Aseer Region, featuring ancient historical buildings and sites that once hosted commercial and social activities.
