Riyadh: In a stunning scene atop the high mountains of Al-Mandaq Governorate, clouds blended with the trees of Al-Khulb Park, which overlooks deep valleys, creating a picturesque natural oasis that attracts nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts year-round.
According to Saudi Press Agency, located in the north of the governorate, Al-Khulb Park helps boost tourism and attract visitors. It sees a high turnout from families and youth who enjoy outdoor seating, walking along natural pathways, and experiencing rainfall interspersed with misty moments that add a special charm to the scenery.
Mayor of Al-Mandaq Governorate Mousa Al-Zahrani told the Saudi Press Agency that Al-Khulb Park covers a total area of 91,914 square meters, with 35 permanent and temporary investment sites, 4,000 square meters of green spaces, restrooms, a prayer area, and public children's playgrounds, in addition to facilities at the investment sites. The park also features a walkway over 600 meters long with integrated sports and recreational amenities. It is considered one of the initiatives aimed at enhancing lifestyle, encouraging the community to walk, promoting public health, and supporting community sports activities in the region.
The World Health Organization recently designated Al-Mandaq Governorate as a Global Healthy City after it met all standards, thanks to its natural beauty and green spaces, as well as Al-Mandaq Municipality's efforts to preserve and develop its resources.
