Riyadh: Chairman of the National Competitiveness Center (NCC) Board Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi recently hosted a meeting in Riyadh with 67 senior executives from 35 countries. These executives are participants in the London Business School's (LBS) executive training programs, led by Executive Dean of Executive Education Professor Florin Vasvari. This engagement is part of a collaborative initiative between the NCC and LBS to develop academic content that underscores Saudi Arabia's experience in economic and developmental reforms, integrating these insights into LBS's executive education curricula to strengthen the Kingdom's status as a global academic model for transformative economic policy.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the purpose of the visit by the international executives was to explore the Kingdom's reform journey and its effects on boosting national competitiveness. The visit involved reviewing various case studies created by LBS that showcase reforms executed in both the public and private sectors of Saudi Arabia.

The executives also toured the Saudi Business Center to understand its operational framework. This visit followed their analysis of a case study that highlighted the center's global role as a standard for facilitating business operations through its one-stop-shop model. The center is recognized for contributing to Saudi Arabia's standing as one of the leading nations in providing quality government services to the business sector.

Additionally, the delegation attended a presentation on Istitlaa, a public consultation platform managed by the NCC. They learned about its function in enabling public, governmental, and private sector entities to offer input on proposed laws and regulations before their enactment. This engagement is crucial in enhancing the legislative environment in the Kingdom through active stakeholder participation.
