Sakaka: Visitors to the 19th Al-Jouf International Olive Festival at Prince Abdullah Cultural Center in Sakaka can explore a range of services and programs offered by various government, private, and non-profit entities.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the SmartSort platform for source-level waste introduces visitors to its waste management and sorting services, engages residents to raise awareness of waste segregation, and provides innovative technical solutions to help individuals, communities, and government bodies build a clean, sustainable environment.
At its pavilion at the Al-Jouf International Olive Festival, the platform demonstrates how local residents can participate in smart waste sorting at the source by separating paper, plastic, and glass. Participants earn purchase points redeemable at more than 70 partner entities via the mobile app, incentivizing participation in source-level waste segregation.
