General

Sakaka: Three specialized laboratories affiliated with the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's branch in Al-Jouf Region are offering quality services to farmers during the fourth Khairat Al-Jouf Festival, taking place over five days at Al-Nakheel Park in Sakaka.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival features a pesticide residue laboratory that conducts on-site testing of agricultural products using a portable testing device. This technology delivers immediate and accurate results, eliminating the need for transporting samples to fixed laboratories and ensuring rapid quality assurance.

Additionally, the soil and water testing laboratory provides comprehensive analysis services for farmers. These include measuring key elements, salinity, pH levels, and sodium content, to support optimal agricultural practices. Complementing these services, the olive oil quality testing laboratory conducts precise acidity testing assessments to determine product suitability and classify olive oil according to approved quality standards.
