Al-Jouf Dates Festival: Celebrating Authentic Folk Heritage, Supporting Producers

Riyadh: Amid notable turnout and continuous public engagement, the activities of the 12th edition of the Al-Jouf Dates Festival continue in Dumat Al-Jandal Governorate, offering a diverse range of events that reflect the authenticity of folk heritage, support producers, and promote agricultural development.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a scene filled with the fragrance of history, pride in identity, and the dignity of the present, Al-Jouf falcons embraced the sky through the festival's activities, in a national showcase that embodied the authenticity of heritage and the depth of belonging.

Festival venues saw strong engagement with the falconry pavilion, which highlighted the region's ancient falconry traditions. Falconers presented rare falcon species and explained methods of breeding and training them, adding a deep-rooted heritage dimension to this major agricultural event.

The festival aims to support farmers and market their products, with participation from more than 30 farmers and 40 families engaged in cottage industries, alongside government entities and civil associations, contributing to the success of this important economic and tourism event.
