Riyadh: Al-Hanakiya Governorate: Al-Hanakiya Governorate, located in the Madinah Region, is set to launch its inaugural Grape Festival at the Palm Center from August 13 to 17, 2025. The event is designed to bolster the local agricultural sector while enhancing economic and tourism activities in this key agricultural oasis.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Palm Center, situated northeast of the governorate, is renowned for its fertile lands that are ideal for cultivating grapes and other seasonal fruits, such as dates. These lands are celebrated for their quality and diversity, attributed to the rich soil and moderate climate of the region.
The festival will serve as a marketing platform for farmers, allowing them to showcase their local grape products to visitors and potential investors. This initiative aims to strengthen the reputation of the Palm Center as a source of high-quality agricultural products and to promote food awareness within the community.
The event will feature a wide array of activities, including exhibitions of various grape varieties, hospitality corners offering Saudi coffee and dates, artistic performances, a section dedicated to handicrafts, and educational entertainment tailored for children.
