Al-baha: The ninth Al-Atawilah Heritage Festival in Al-Baha Region concluded in Al-Qura Governorate as part of the Al-Baha Summer 2026 program. Held over several days, the festival attracted a notable turnout of residents and visitors, featuring a diverse range of cultural, heritage, and entertainment programs that showcased various aspects of traditional life.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival featured live demonstrations that introduced visitors to aspects of the local heritage, including traditional household practices and ancient farming methods using wooden plows pulled by animals. The activities also featured demonstrations recreating traditional house-building techniques, the preparation of authentic local dishes, and dedicated handicraft corners where artisans showcased their skills and products to visitors.
Traditional games and folkloric performances enriched the festival experience, offering an engaging glimpse into the arts, customs, and heritage traditions preserved and passed down across generations.
