Al-Ahly team will start its journey in the FIFA Club World Cup at 09:00 PM on Wednesday, by facing Auckland City, the champion of Oceania continent, at Ibn Battuta stadium in Morocco in the preliminary round of the tournament, which will be held in Morocco during the period from 1 to 11 February.
The winner of the Al-Ahly and Auckland City match qualifies to face the American Seattle Sounders, the CONCACAF champion, in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The expected formation of Al-Ahly against Auckland City appears to be composed of “goalkeepers: Mohamed El-Shennawy, in the defense line: Ali Maaloul, Mohamed Abdel-Moneim, Mahmoud Metwally, Mohamed Hani, and in the midfield: Amr El-Soulia, Aliou Diang, Hamdi Fathy, and in the offensive line: Hussein El-Shahat. Kahraba, Mohamed Sherif.
Al Ahly will participate in the FIFA Club World Cup for the 8th time in their history. Al Ahly aim to make history and achieve a better place after getting the Bronze medal three times before.
