Riyadh: The Agricultural Development Fund participated in the International Day of Cooperatives exhibition, organized by the Cooperative Societies Council in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, which took place in Riyadh from July 3 to 6. At the event, the fund promoted cooperative work by supporting and financing agricultural cooperative societies across the Kingdom. It showcased key financing services and products for the agricultural sector, including projects such as poultry slaughterhouses, cold storage facilities, marketing centers, olive and sesame oil presses, beekeeping, fish farming, and agricultural product processing, along with developmental operating loans and veterinary services.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this participation reflects the fund's commitment to enhancing cooperative work, supporting sustainable agricultural development, and achieving food security. Since its establishment, the fund has provided approximately SAR952 million to 56 agricultural cooperative societies throughout the Kingdom.
