Affairs Presidency Boosts Readiness for Third Ramadan Friday

General

Madinah: The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque raised its on-the-ground and digital readiness for the third Friday of Ramadan. It is mobilizing its personnel and equipment to receive worshippers and visitors and provide an integrated worship environment at the Two Holy Mosques. The presidency said its development-focused operating plans draw on the accumulated expertise of specialized departments serving worshippers at the Two Holy Mosques.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the presidency is reinforcing awareness programs inside the Grand Mosque through question-answer centers across the mosque's corridors, courtyards, and entrances. The programs include dedicated telephone lines for guidance in several languages and interactive electronic screens that provide digital Sharia content in multiple languages.

The presidency said the content helps promote sound Islamic creed and explain ritual rulings through knowledge materials that combine established scholarship with modern digital technology.

In translation services, the presidency strengthened the readiness of qualified religious staff for on-site interpretation. It also reinforced technical support and digital broadcast teams that archive lessons and sermons and deliver them worldwide through multiple digital platforms. It said the Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is translated into more than 15 languages through a digital system. The aim is to deliver the Two Holy Mosques' message to Muslims across languages and cultures.
