Kuala lumpur: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Marketing Committee has reported remarkable achievements following its recent rebranding campaign. During the committee's third virtual meeting, Deputy Chairperson Abdullah Aljneibi emphasized that the newly introduced corporate and competition identities have significantly modernized the AFC's image and bolstered its partnerships. He noted that this marks a new era of advancement for Asian football.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the rebranding initiative has led to impressive outcomes, with an 83% increase in the number of sponsors for AFC competitions between the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons. Additionally, the AFC Champions League Elite Finals Jeddah 2025 achieved a milestone by hosting 62 marketing activities, setting a new record.
Aljneibi expressed that these achievements are merely the beginning of what he described as an "unprecedented historical journey" for Asian football. The AFC is determined to continue its efforts to enhance the sport and support all its members in the foreseeable future.
