Active Female Participation in Iftar Initiatives in Tabuk

Tabuk: Ramadan in Tabuk Region is witnessing growing volunteer activity, marked by strong female participation in initiatives to prepare and distribute iftar meals, reflecting increasing community awareness of the importance of charitable work and the role of women in supporting it.

According to Saudi Press Agency, female volunteers contribute across various stages of these initiatives, from planning and organization to preparing meals in volunteer kitchens and finally packaging and distributing them to beneficiary families and travelers along the roads.

The Tabuk Volunteer Work Association confirmed that women's participation in iftar initiatives has seen significant growth, with volunteers working within an organized framework that clearly defines roles and responsibilities to ensure quality performance.

The association added that women's roles now extend beyond implementation to planning, supervision, and management, enhancing the effectiveness of volunteer initiatives and reinforcing community partnership and women's empowerment in the non-profit sector.
