Cairo: The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the University of Business and Technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to enhance cooperation in education and scientific research.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU was signed in Cairo by Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Business and Technology Dr. Abdullah Sadiq Dahlan and AASTMT President Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag.
The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions in fields such as artificial intelligence, engineering, international transport and logistics, management, and technology. It also includes provisions for scientific consultancy, joint programs, exchange of expertise and training, as well as fostering joint research initiatives. The MoU further seeks to establish a shared database to support the cooperation objectives and leverage modern information technologies, serving the mutual interests of both sides.
