Jeddah: The Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) will hold a hearing session on April 18, 2024, regarding draft governance standards issued by AAOIFI. The drafts include the governance standard 'Application of Sharia Governance Principles on Islamic Financial Windows' and the governance standard 'Application of Sharia Governance Principles on Islamic Subsidiary and Affiliate Companies.' This session will be conducted via video conferencing in collaboration with the Bahrain Association of Banks (BAB), the UAE Banks Federation (UAEBF), several Islamic institutions, banks, and stakeholders.
