5.0-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Papua, Indonesia

Riyadh: A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck today off the coast of Papua Province in Indonesia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics reported that the earthquake's epicenter was located 27 kilometers east of Sarmi district at a depth of 15 kilometers.

There have been no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
