Al-Asyah: The Qassim Falcons Festival in Al-Asyah Governorate, Qassim, witnessed exciting competitions today, with 45 falcons participating in a fast-paced event that ran from 7 AM to 5 PM.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this event is part of the annual falcons festival, showcasing the skills of falconers and the speed of birds of prey. Participants from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region are demonstrating their expertise in handling their birds and presenting impressive displays of control and precision.
The competition has created an atmosphere filled with excitement and anticipation among participants and spectators alike, drawing the interest of enthusiasts of this traditional sport.
In an interview with the competition's general supervisor Nasser Al-Ajmi, he highlighted the significant role of this event in promoting and preserving the culture of falconry.
