Riyadh: A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck west of Tobelo city, Indonesia today: A 4.7-magnitude earthquake has shaken the area west of Tobelo city in Indonesia, causing concern among residents and local authorities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 85 kilometers from Tobelo. The quake occurred at a depth of 123.9 kilometers beneath the earth's surface.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of casualties or damage as a result of the earthquake. Residents in the area are urged to remain vigilant and follow any guidance from local authorities regarding safety measures.
