The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine announced on Monday that three of its members were killed in an Israeli raid on Beirut, the first of its kind to target the heart of the Lebanese capital since the start of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon. She said that the three leaders "were martyred on the path to liberating Palestine at dawn today, Monday, September 30, 2024, as a result of a treacherous assassination operation carried out by occupation aircraft in an apartment in the Cola area. "The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, announces the death of Comrade Commander Mohammed Abdel Aal, member of the Front's Political Bureau and head of the Military Security Department, Comrade Commander Imad Odeh, member of the Front's General Central Committee and its military commander in Lebanon, and Comrade Fighter Abdul Rahman Abdel Aal," it said in a statement.
