Riyadh: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's Aseer branch continues its activities for Environment Week 2025, with an initiative that saw 35 volunteers from diverse community groups plant some 250 seedlings of various flowers and aromatic trees.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative aimed to empower members of the community in environmental preservation, particularly in water and food consumption, and to foster unified efforts and knowledge exchange for the region's sustainable growth and prosperity, ensuring societal well-being and a better future.
Through numerous programs and activities, the ministry's Aseer branch seeks to enhance environmental awareness across all societal segments and sectors, disseminate knowledge about key environmental issues in the Kingdom, encourage environmental commitment, and cultivate a sense of responsibility to address harmful environmental behaviors and promote positive ones.
