Minister: Opera House resumes cultural activities with 40 concerts during summer 2020Culture Minister Enas Abdel Dayem on Friday 03/07/2020 approved the program of resuming the activities of Opera House, which comprises 40 diversified concerts set to be held at the newly-established open-air theaters. A galaxy of notable Egyptian and Arab musicians and singers, including Singer Mohamed Mounir, veteran Musician Omar Khayirat, along with singers Ali el-Haggar and Medhat Saleh will take part in the concerts. The concerts will be resumed as of Thursday at 8:00 pm at the Fountain Open Air Theater. Also, Opera Alexandria “Sayed Darwish Theatre” will host a concert on July 10. According to Cairo Opera House Chairman Magdy Saber, reservation of the concerts is available online through the hyperlink: https://ticketsmall.com/customer/events/list/ He added that the concerts will be held with a capacity of 25 percent to ensure the safety of attendees and Opera staff, along with keeping social distancing and disinfecting the theaters.
