The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development will announce the winners of the first Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award on Monday, October 28. The announcement will take place during the Global CSR Forum, held on October 28-29 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh, under the patronage of Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Engineer Ahmed Al-Rajhi. The award aims to recognize private sector companies and institutions that have demonstrated exceptional performance in social responsibility for 2024. As recorded on the National Social Responsibility Platform, 1,758 companies competed for the award across two categories: social responsibility practices and corporate contributions. According to the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha'at), the companies registered on the platform range in size, including 71 giant companies, 201 large companies, 595 medium-sized companies, and 891 small companies. A specialized committee evaluated the nominees using global stan dards, analyzing company data from the National Social Responsibility Platform and following specific procedures for each award category. This award is part of national initiatives to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors. It highlights companies' contributions and encourages the adoption of innovative practices, enhancing competitiveness and fostering loyalty. Source: Saudi Press Agency
