16 Projects Open for Feedback through Istitlaa Platform

Riyadh: The Saudi Competitiveness and Business Center's (SCBC) Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 16 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 10 government agencies, the SCBC invites the general public, government agencies, and the private sector to share their feedback on the projects before their approval.

According to Saudi Press Agency, key projects presented on the platform include a project titled 'Economic Participation Policy Update,' launched by the Local Content and Government Procurement Authority. The project aims to enhance the policy implementation procedures in a way that maximizes the economic impact, improves the efficiency and clarity of compliance mechanisms, and addresses the challenges faced in complying with the policy. The public can provide feedback on this project through the Istitlaa platform until April 22, 2026.

The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites has launched a project titled 'Technical Standards Manual for Land Subdivisions in Makkah City,' which aims to establish integrated and implementable technical and planning standards for land subdivisions in Makkah City. Public feedback on the project will be accepted until April 22, 2026.

The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Executive Regulation of the Vacant Property Fees.' This project aims to enable the ministry to implement these fees in accordance with market indicators and the economic trends of the city. Public feedback on the project is open until April 25, 2026.

The National Center for Inspection and Monitoring is seeking public feedback on a project titled 'Policy on Inspection and Oversight Campaigns,' which aims to unify and coordinate inspection activities among government entities. Public consultation on the project will remain open until April 26, 2026.

The Capital Market Authority has put forward a key project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Amendments to the Rules for Registering Auditors of Entities Subject to the Authority's Supervision.' This project aims to develop the Rules for Registering Auditors of Entities Subject to the Authority's Supervision, in line with international best practices and in a manner consistent with the relevant laws, to enhance the quality of audit processes for entities subject to the authority's supervision and improve the efficiency of auditors of such entities. Public feedback on the project is open until May 8, 2026.

The introduction of draft regulations, publics, and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform serves as an affirmation of enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. In addition, Istitlaa fosters a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
