Riyadh: Saudi Arabia, represented by the General Court of Audit, will host the 15th General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI), along with the 69th and 70th meetings of its Executive Council, next Sunday in Jeddah. The gatherings will bring together the heads of member supreme audit institutions, participating delegations, and observers from regional and international organizations and peer institutions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meetings will run until December 4 and will begin with the 69th Executive Council meeting, chaired by the General Court of Audit. The council is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of the organization's strategic plan and making key decisions related to its activities. It will also review reports submitted by ARABOSAI's main and subcommittees and take appropriate action.
Following the council's meeting, the General Assembly will convene with the participation of all supreme audit institutions from Arab countries, in addition to several relevant international and regional organizations. Over three days, the assembly will discuss a range of items on its agenda, with the aim of strengthening cooperation among member institutions, supporting joint initiatives, and enhancing professional performance across the region.
