Gaza - Ma'an - Fifteen citizens were killed and dozens were injured, some of them in critical condition, as a result of Israeli shelling of the Abdul Fattah Hamoud and Al-Zahra schools in Gaza City. The Palestinian Civil Defense said that its crews recovered seven martyrs from Al-Zahraa School at the entrance to Al-Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of Gaza City, while citizens recovered the bodies of eight martyrs after a bombing targeted Abdul Fattah Hamoud School east of the city. The martyrs and wounded were transferred to the Baptist Hospital in the city center. Last week, Israel bombed three schools, killing dozens of people. The number of schools that were directly bombed while housing displaced people rose to 100 schools, resulting in the martyrdom of about 1,100 citizens. Source: Maan News Agency
