14th Al-Baha Pomegranate Festival Set to Begin Tomorrow

Al-baha: Al-Baha Region Governor Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz is scheduled to inaugurate the 14th national pomegranate festival tomorrow.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Director General of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's branch in Al-Baha Region, Fahad Al-Zahrani, stated that the festival aims to showcase the quality and abundant production of the region's pomegranates, highlighting their comparative advantages.

The festival is designed to support local farmers by promoting their products, encourage the participation of families working in the cottage industry, and raise community awareness about pomegranates. Al-Zahrani noted that 75 booths have been allocated to participating farmers to display a variety of pomegranate products.

He also emphasized that the festival will feature exhibitions and a range of activities aimed at attracting visitors and stimulating economic and tourism growth in the region.
