UNESCO and Saudi Foundation to Mark World Arabic Language Day with Focus on Technology

PARIS: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in collaboration with the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation, is set to commemorate World Arabic Language Day at its headquarters in Paris on December 18. The event will highlight the importance of the Arabic language as a medium for cultural and civilizational exchange globally.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the celebration will include discussions and workshops that focus on the integration of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance the Arabic language’s presence worldwide. The event aims to explore new avenues for promoting the language through technological advancements.

A diverse group of international scholars and specialists, along with language enthusiasts and researchers, will participate in the sessions. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for attendees to share insights and research findings related to the Arabic language and its interaction with contemporary technology.
