RIYADH: Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman has extended his congratulations to Saudi Arabia’s leadership following the Kingdom’s successful bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The Sultan’s messages were directed to both King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who also serves as the Prime Minister.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Sultan Haitham conveyed his commendations through two official cables, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s significant efforts in preparing to host the prestigious global football tournament. He expressed his hopes for the Kingdom’s success in realizing its ambitious objectives, not only in the realm of sports but also across broader developmental initiatives.
